Astrid Garmo is a multi-talented musician from Garmo in the Gudbrandsdal valley of Norway. She began playing at a young age and has studied with a wide range of teachers. She will teach Norwegian fiddle classes, a Hardanger fiddle class and Norwegian singing.

Bengt Jonsson, from Hälsingland Sweden, will teach the Swedish Fiddle and Cow Horn classes. Bengt plays fiddle regularly for dancers and at concerts and is a skilled fiddle teacher. He is also a decorated player of the cow horn.

Britt Mari Westholm Dahlgren and Eric Dahlgren from Sweden will teach a selection of dances from the Dalarna area of Sweden. Britt-Mari is an outstanding teacher with a deep understanding of the dances. She has been dancing and teaching Swedish dances since the 1980’s.

Eric Dahlgren and Britt-Mari Westholm Dahlgren will teach a selection of dances from the Dalarna area of Sweden. Eric is a skilled dancer and teacher. He has been teaching with Britt-Mari since 2004.

Karin Brandsbol is partnering Øyvind Sandum to teach the dance, Springleik from Vågå from the Gudbrandsdal valley in Norway. Karen lives in Oppdal, Norway. She was born in Sweden and has been dancing and playing music since she was a child.

Larry Harding is partnering with Roo Lester to teach the Scandinavian Dance Fundamentals, Hambo, and Scandinavian style of waltz classes. He has been dancing since college and teaching with Roo for many years.

Linda Gross, a folk dancer since childhood, has loved and studied a number of Scandinavian textile arts and handicrafts. She will teach the Crafts class on Woven Paper Hearts.

Loretta Kelley has been teaching, writing and performing on the Hardanger Fiddle (hardingfele) for more than 40 years. Her recordings and performances have received critical acclaim both in the US and Norway. Loretta will teach Hardanger Fiddle and Beginning Scandinavian Fiddle.

Øyvind Sandum will teach the Springleik from Vågå with Karin Brandsbol partnering him. Øyvind was born in the Gudbrandsdal valley. He is a skilled dancer and musician with a special interest in the springleik.

Peter Michaelsen is known for his fiddling, teaching and music leadership. His powerful style and broad repertoire inspire musicians and dancers alike. Peter will lead musicians through a selection of the most well-known and played dance tunes during the Group Playing (Allspel/Samspel) classes.
