She is well known in Sweden as well as internationally. Growing up in the province of Dalarna, in the center of Sweden, she was, from an early age, surrounded by the rich musical traditions of this region. As a young child she was already becoming passionate about traditional music. This deep interest gradually evolved into her current profession. Today she is known as one of the experts in the area of shepherd callings from Dalarna, as well as Nordic folk songs, work-songs from the mines, dancing tunes, religious hymns and medieval ballads. Eva has a deep knowledge of the vocal traditional music of Sweden. With this as a platform she is creating innovative music inspired by her cultural heritage. Eva is most of all a performer who can connect with the audience and touch the listener. Eva will teach singing at Scandia Camp 2024.
